TacBaze

Marketplace

Where small apps get found.

A public shop where app makers list and promote their apps, and anyone can browse, rate, ask questions and request the app they need. Looking around needs no account.

Two sides

Built for visitors and makers.

For visitors

No account, no sign-up.

  • Search apps, filter by category, and sort by top rated, newest or trending
  • App pages with a banner, screenshots, product videos, tutorials and docs
  • Rate from 1 to 5 (one rating per visitor, editable) and leave comments, questions and feature requests
  • Leaderboards: top rated, most reviewed, trending and most discussed, by category
  • A requests board: ask for an app or post a requirement, and upvote what others need

For makers

In TacBaze, under Marketplace.

  • List your app with a logo, banner, screenshots, links, an accent colour, a category and tags; keep it a draft until it is ready
  • Add product videos and tutorials (YouTube or Vimeo) and documentation pages
  • Reply to comments and requests with a Maker badge, set a request to planned, done or declined, and hide or report abuse
  • Boost a listing to featured (one at a time per workspace, then a 7-day pause) and share it as a social post
  • Answer the requests board, and point the asker to one of your apps

Leaderboards

The best apps rise.

Top rated (a weighted average), most reviewed, trending and most discussed, overall and by category.

Requests board

Ask for the app you need.

Anyone can ask for an app or post a requirement. Others upvote it, and makers answer, pointing to one of their own apps when it fits.

Trust

Open to everyone, kept clean.

One voice per visitor

One rating per visitor per app and one flag per comment, without asking anyone to sign up.

Held, not hidden

Spam and profanity filters hold suspicious comments for the maker, and three flags hold a comment for review.

Rate limited

Per-IP and per-visitor limits and a hidden bot trap on every public form.

Safe content

Comments are plain text; documentation is sanitized before it is shown.

The marketplace comes with every plan. Each listing is a public page for your app that links to your own demo, website and store pages; TacBaze does not host app code.

Product visuals on this page are illustrations with sample apps.
